Artist Notes: This piece is a 3D painting, basically a bas relief sculpture made with paint and sand and has tons of texture that is meant to be touched so it is fully sealed with varnish to protect it from degrading and to allow it to be wiped with a damp cloth. This piece is an homage to Basquiat and is made to feel like and look like a piece of a buildings exterior wall removed for sale ala Samo pieces during his explosion as an artist.
