Our Poverty & the Arts (PovA) Studio + Gallery is located in the up-and-coming arts district of Wedgewood-Houston in South Nashville, TN. Not only it is the venue for which our artists experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness can display and sell their artwork, but our studio space serves as a places of our artists to foster their creative and form meaningful community. Our artists earn 60% of original artwork and 25% of prints and merchandise with their design/image. Our artists are provided art supplies, studio space, professional development workshops, and community networking opportunities. Check us out on the WE-HO Art Crawl map.
The gallery opens the first Saturday of every month during the Wegdewood-Houston Art Crawl with a new exhibition. The gallery + storefront is open for purchasing original artwork and merchandise during any OPEN STUDIO HOURS which can be found online.
