Our Artist Leadership Council provides hands-on professional and resume-building opportunities for artists who have been in the Poverty & the Arts Artist Collective for longer than (1) year. Artists apply, get selected, and serve in their position on the leadership council for (1) year.
Meet Ellie, our Studio Photographer - The Studio Photographer position reports to the Program Coordinator and is an opportunity to use the Hi-Res Studio Camera and work with provided guidelines and volunteer photographers to develop and grow photography shooting and editing skills.
Meet Beth, our Marketing & Communications Assistant - The Marketing & Communication Assistant reports to the Executive Director and is an opportunity to gain experience with graphic design, content development, and marketing.
Meet David, our Hospitality Committee Chair - The Hospitality Committee reports to the Executive Director is responsible for preparing the Studio for events and making visitors feel welcomed.
Meet Kateri & Beth, our Speaking Team - The Speaking Team reports to the Executive Director and consists of Artists who desire to give testimonies and share the impact of Poverty & the Arts at potential funding events with Executive Director included but not limited to churches, schools, and conferences.
